Bart Swings and Jana Gegner gave CadoMotus the first two victories of the season. Great victories! They won the overall ranking of the international race in Geisingen. With so many world stars present, this was a perfect start of the season.
Numerous unofficial World records were broken on the fastest track in the World, the Geisingen Arena. Bart Swings took two of them, the points race (14'08") and the elimination race (21'44"). Swings showed to not have lost any of his inline speed after a tough winter season. He even placed 2nd at the 500 meter sprint in a Colombian final. He was close behind Pedro Causil, and in front of super stars Andres Munoz and Nayib Tobon.
Last week in Berlin Jana Gegner showed some of her top shape, and in Geisingen she confirmed it. She took superb wins in the 200 meter Dobbin sprint, the 500 meter and the 20k elimination race. In the points race she placed third. In the overall ranking Mareike Thum and Sabine Berg, the girls that finished in front of her last week in Berlin, placed second and third.
